Yesterday was the annual event to raise awareness in the community about hunger. The numbers are staggering. In 2007 the Jonnycake Center provided food for 122,913 meals, and in 2008 that number increased to 234,067. The first four months this year, they have already distributed 63,479 pounds of food.
