This is the first election cycle I've invested my time, dollars and energy into a South County race. I believe that especially in a year where so much is up in the air at every level of Rhode Island government, it's important to back a trusted progressive voice who has been planning and executing a viable campaign for over a year. I committed to working with Teresa last July, knowing that I trusted her positions on electoral reform, health care policy, and progressive taxation. As we are losing many of the bill sponsors we relied upon in the RI General Assembly for environmental, public transit, choice and civil liberties legislation, knowing that a new advocate is within reach is all the more precious.
We're having a reception at Loie Fuller's at 1455 Westminster St in Providence, Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30. Light refreshments will be served.
