Is there a local state representative who speaks up for victims of domestic violence from armed abusers? Is there a stronger voice who advocates for family friendly policies in the budget process?
Our state is fortunate to have Rep. Teresa Tanzi (D-Dist. 34) of Narragansett, Wakefield and Peace Dale, in the Rhode Island legislature to advocate for families. As a young woman, she becomes a senior member and will serve on the House Finance Committee. The policies assisting Rhode Island veterans, individuals with mental health disabilities, and city and town firefighters are important concerns to Narragansett, Peace Dale and Wakefield voters.
Tanzi’s leadership makes me a proud Rhode Islander and I plan on voting for her in the Sept. 13 Democratic primary.
