FAQ

How do I register to vote?
Just print out the form from the Board of Elections website, complete it and mail it in to your local Board of Canvassers at Town Hall.

Where do I get a mail ballot?
The Secretary of State's website is where you will find an application for a mail ballot. You will fill it out and mail or drop off at the local board of canvassers. (SK or Narragansett Town Hall.) Then your mail ballot will be sent to you. Fill it out and send it in, the address is on the ballot. Remember, you no longer need a reason to vote by mail, anyone can do it!

Can I vote with an emergency ballot?
Yes!
If you are going to be out of town, or unable to vote between the hours of 7am-8pm on election day, you may visit  your local Board of Canvassers at either Narragansett or South Kingstown's Town Hall and ask for an emergency ballot.

Where do I go to vote?
Since polling places change for each election, it is imperative that every voter check their polling location by entering your specific address at the RI Secretary of State's Voter Information Center.
